Job Summary: Provide and maintain clean and comfortable rooms to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. We also provide friendly and courteous service to each and every guest we come into contact with. Responsibilities Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily. All keys must be offline at the start of their shift and logged in at the end of the shift in the key control log. Proceed to the laundry area to pick up your assigned cart and necessary supplies that will be delivered by your supervisor. Always be careful not to make excessive noise in guest room areas. You never know when a guest might be disturbed, and this applies at any time during the day or night while you are in the flat. Check-outs will be done first. The only exception to this is a special request. Please report all rooms listed as "do not disturb" to your superior for approval. Sheets must be changed in each room, every day, unless specified by the guest. Proceed from room to room, taking care to observe all Do Not Disturb signs. Clean rooms according to established procedures; Return the cart to the linen room at the end of the shift. Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests of management. Be flexible about work hours. Report to work on time and in a clean, proper uniform, including name tag. Learn about the daily operations of the hotel. Stay up to date with all changes, new procedures and events. Stay on top of current guest service scores and understand guest feedback and needs. Be an active participant in achieving the hotel's GSS goals. Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, rules and internal regulations Be knowledgeable about all emergency procedures and know how to act on them. Please report any incidents or unusual requests to the manager. Assist fellow associates in their jobs when they can improve the daily operations of the hotel. Perform all other assigned tasks.
