ANDON Specialties is a national leading manufacturer's representative/distributor of process automation, analytical, and fluid handling solutions. We are currently searching for a Territory Sales Representative to join our TEAM in Chicago, IL.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Generates new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner

Responsible for the creation and updating all customer data, contact data and quote data in company CRM

Determines customer requirements and expectations by proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction, improve transaction profitability, increasing sales, and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling and add-on sales
- Responsible for maintaining good customer relationships

Follow up on leads and develop relationships with customers in an effort to promote and provide solutions utilizing the Andon portfolio

Create a winning atmosphere by effectively developing and communicating the sales strategy to all constituencies through the organization
- There will be some travel required to various Andon offices and customer sites
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?
- Bachelor degree preferred

2-5 years previous sales experience, preferred industries: petrochemical, oil & gas, life sciences and/or semiconductor
