Staff Auditor Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess public accounting and audit experience. They will perform fieldwork at the client’s worksite. The ideal candidate will have some background in the nonprofit industry, however, this is not mandated.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare asset, liability, and equity entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Prepare Form 990 tax returns
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Answer accounting procedures by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations
- Perform basic audit testing
- The person in this position would need to travel to clients’ worksite about 33% of the time in order to conduct audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience: 0-3 years of public accounting and audit experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
