The Adjunct Faculty - Clinic Dentist is primarily responsible for the supervision of clinical procedures and patient referrals.
- Contribute to a positive working and learning environment
- Attend and contribute to faculty calibration meetings
- Adhere to the policies set forth in the Faculty Manual
- Maintain current Massachusetts license and CPR certification
- Attend faculty development programs
- Work with the clinical supervisor to facilitate cooperative teaching and learning
- Provide supervision of dental and dental hygiene care to MCPHS University patients
- Write progress reports
- Follow clinic policies and procedures outlined in the CPM
- Assist the clinic supervisors with yearly revisions of the CPM
- Assist the clinic manager with maintaining necessary emergency supplies and equipment
- Assist in emergencies
- Assist the Professional Services Director
- Follow all HIPAA protocols
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required:
- Current Massachusetts license as a Dentist
- Current CPR certification
- Background in educational methodology
