This is a Full Time - Remote position that will need to be near one of our locations: Atlanta, GA, Brunswick, GA, Ft Myers/Naples, FL or West Palm Beach, FL.
Our ideal candidate will be the ultimate multitasker, wearing many hats, from employee relations to benefits and payroll. You’re the starting point for all things HR.
- Process employees' payroll accurately and on time to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This will also ensure accurate deductions for retirement benefits and garnishments
- Maintains all aspects of our employee benefit programs, including monthly new hire enrollment, qualified status changes, open enrollment, retirement program and worker’s compensation claims. Helps leaders and employees with questions regarding these programs and processes
- Maintains our benefits administration system and updates it to reflect terminations, transfers, promotions, qualifying life events, etc
- Partners with leadership to effectively address employee issues. Conducts effective, thorough investigations as warranted and follows up with the appropriate course of action
- Resolve escalated employee questions and problems by interpreting benefits and paycheck concerns; ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution
- Assist with annual compliance filings such as ACA and form 5500’s.
- Other duties may be assigned based on business needs or management’s request
Requirements
- Human Resources working in similar role for at least 3 years (Required)
- Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and personal accountability
- Effective analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management skills. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituents
- Manage, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks/projects simultaneously at an Advanced skill level with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Paylocity and Employee Navigator a plus
- Service Titan (preferred)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, self-directed, results-oriented and prioritize multiple assignments
- Applicants must be able to prove U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States
- Applicants must be able to travel freely and without restrictions inside/outside the United States
Education Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Fluent in English/Spanish (preferred)
- PHR (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Willing and able to travel 25%
