They play a pivotal role within Avocaderia by ensuring our food is prepared, cooked and served to the highest possible standard by complying with all quality checks and food safety control measures. They contribute to productivity by keeping pace and maintain the availability of fresh ingredients all day. Additionally, they contribute to profitability by providing excellent guest service that wows every time
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation-
- Prepare and cook food items following the brand standards
- Operate equipment following safety and operational instructions
- Setup all workstations following brand standards
- Keep pace during production and finish prep list on time
- Actively communicate to the Team Leader progress on the prep list
- Demonstrate teamwork by supporting coworkers to finish production on time
- Store and label food following all DOH and Avocaderia standards
- Report ingredients that do not meet quality standards to Team Leader
- Accurately report waste that may have resulted from food production, damage, or over prepping to Team Leader
- Use cups, spoons, and quarts to measure food according to the Avocaderia Recipe Book
- Prepare food for the next day following prep list and recipes
- Read deployment planner daily
- Keep up to date with menu, ingredients or changes in standards
Guest Experience-
- Deliver customer service that wows every time by following the Steps of Service
- Confidently answer questions regarding our food and ingredients or allergens
- Handle minor customer complaints following our brand standards
- Adapt service style and delivery based on the customer’s needs
- Demonstrate teamwork by completing various tasks to deliver a great customer experience
- Remain in your assigned position throughout peak periods
Health and Food Safety-
- Adhere to all health & safety policies and standards
- Adhere to all uniform standards in line with company policy
- Wear non slip shoes in the kitchen and hair restraints when working with food
- Complete temperature log in Blanket at assigned times
- Produce food that adheres to all DOH and Avocaderia standards

Salary Range- $15-$16.50 per hour plus tips, commensurate with experience and applicable certification
