THE ROLE
As a True Muse Stylist, you are our most important brand ambassador. You bring a love for fashion, confidence in creativity, passion for product, and energy to the sales floor each day. You thrive in high-energy, positive work environments and have a drive to exceed goals.
Most importantly, you listen to the customer and develop authentic and genuine relationships with our shoppers. You create genuine connections, are a product expert, and help customers express their authentic selves (and sometimes you simply help them check an item off their list). You collaborate with team members and managers to drive the business, jump in on tasks that help create a seamless experience, and bring a collaborative, kind, and inclusive energy to the sales floor.
Your goal is to grow the business by genuinely creating an outstanding customer experience. You are bright, energetic and customer-focused and create a warm and welcoming environment in our store.

· Styling experience in luxury fashion and/or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands with the ability to translate that knowledge into solving customer styling needs.

· Effective communicator with experience in creating meaningful connections with customers that build brand loyalty.
· Great attention to detail, and highly organized.
· At least 18 years old.
· Flexible and adaptable to work shifts that meet the needs of the business (weekends, nights); flexible and/or consistent scheduling may be available.
· Ability to maneuver around the salesfloor, stockroom, and office and lift up to 30lb, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
Styling:
· Be the product expert (quality, fit and styling), building incremental sales through wardrobing.
· Take inspiration from credible and relevant fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that inspiration into action by solving customer styling needs.
· Listen to the customer to understand what they need and what makes them feel most confident.
· Connect and engage with customers authentically to understand their styling needs.
· Serve as a Brand storyteller to create experiences that drive sales and achieve store goals, with the customer as the primary focus.
Sales:
· Take ownership of sales results; focusing on KPI's such as Average Order Value, Conversion %, and revenue to target.
· Achieve sales goals + excellent customer service.
· Connect with our customers and genuinely listen to help find the best items for them.
· Support a memorable and customized customer service experience that focuses on building relationships through the connection and relation of the True Muse Brand Values.
· Assist in efficiently checking out customers accurately and promptly.
· Help make informed suggestions that affect the service, and productivity of the selling floor.
· Utilize in-store relationships, customer profiles to attract | retain new clients.
Customer Experience:
· Lead a memorable and exceptional customer service experience that focuses on building relationships through the True Muse brand story.
· Stay informed and knowledgeable of all True Muse products and latest launches, keeping the team informed as well.
· Ensure all customers are presented with their products and thanked as the final step of the customer journey.
· Know the neighborhood; the events, artists, local influencers and style-makers.
Visual Merchandising:
· Support with the day-to-day maintenance of visual displays and product.
· Provide feedback relating to gaps and opportunities.
Operations:
· Execute tasks and assist in keeping the store clean and organized.
· Support in depth monthly inventory counts including preparation, execution, and verification.
· Minimize and mitigate shrink by using loss-prevention techniques.
· Work with the store team to identify any opportunities to improve the daily operations of the store (ie systems, processes) - communicate with HQ where appropriate.
· Assist in processing and replenishing.
· Learn our systems and gadgets and use them effectively.
· Support all transaction types within our OMNI business including purchases, returns, exchanges, transactions ensuring we exceed expectations with each interaction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
