Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays using <Medical imaging> systems
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, including <Prosthodontics>, <Pediatrics>, <General dentistry>, and <Endodontics>
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform <Medical coding> and billing tasks
- Manage inventory and supplies in the dental clinic
- Uphold infection control protocols and standards
Requirements:
- Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in using dental software such as <Dentrix>
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and anatomy
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
