Our large, rapidly growing and well-established Public Accounting/Professional Services client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Senior Tax Manager for this IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY.
Salary - $160 to $180K plus Annual Bonuses and Commission for New Client Growth

Job Location - Danville, CA
Hours - 40 hours/wk, up to 60 hours/wk during Tax Season
- Opportunity for Hybrid Schedule - ability to work 2 days a week from home, however initially working in the office daily during initial acclimation.
- MUST reside in a commutable distance from office (this is NOT a fully remote position)

Due to continuing growth, our client is seeking a Senior Tax Manager who has an entrepreneurial spirit and knows how to get things done. In addition to the traditional roll-up your sleeves tax review and client advisory, the role requires a strong sense of entrepreneurship, strategy, and management. They rely heavily on their local leadership team in each office to develop and execute the firm's vision.
Duties / Responsibilities -
- Work with and support the firm's Director in leading and managing the local team
- Become a primary point of contact for clients from retiring partners
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for new clients
- Work with the firm's executive team and Director to develop and execute the firm's growth initiatives, product, and services offering and operational strategies
- Review and manage individual, business (c-corps, s-corps, and partnerships) and trust tax return engagements
- Lead firm's consulting and advisory efforts in the region
- Lead and manage staff in areas of research, training, and development
Education / Experience -
- 7 - 12 years of experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership and estate tax returns
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus
- CPA or EA certification required
- Direct experience managing staff and client relationships
- Excellent communication and attention management skills
- Proprietor mentality and work ethic
- Entrepreneurial minded with an interest in strategy and operations
