CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR LEHIGH VALLEY, PA (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton)
This is a temporary work-from-home position, which will require travel to the Lehigh County Courthouse and Northampton County Courthouse approximately one to two days a week.
THIS JOB WILL TRANSITION INTO A FULL TIME *IN OFFICE* POSITION WITHIN 4-6 MONTHS, POSSIBLY SOONER.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
**Job Overview:**
I am a criminal defense attorney seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/ Secretary to join my team. On average, I represent 80-100 clients at one time. Therefore, the ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and professional manner.
The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to manage speaking with clients, court staff, and other attorneys and secretaries. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
The job will INITIALLY be remote - answering phones, sending emails, typing documents, and managing my calendar. The job WILL transition into a full-time, in person position at an office in Bethlehem or Easton. The work environment includes:

**Duties:**
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic filing systems
- Assist with transcribing and typing documents
- Provide support for office management tasks
- Act as a personal assistant to attorney when needed
- Interacting with clients, other attorneys, court staff, judges
**Skills:**
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in roles such as a receptionist or secretary is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently
This position offers the opportunity to initially work from home with flexible hours. The role will transition to a full-time, on-site position.
