Job Description / Requirements:
Occupational Therapist with the ability to evaluate and treat a variety of occupational based deficits. Have the ability to treat children with a variety of diagnoses who have a range abilities and limitations in participating in their daily occupations. Have the ability to conduct activity analysis for children ranging from pre-school through high school ages. Professional commitment to serving clients using evidence-based treatments. Seeking professionals with strong communication with parents, colleagues, and other medical professionals.
· Ability to evaluate motor, sensory, psychosocial, etc. that impact a childs occupation
· Ability to conduct treatment in a variety of environments
· Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills
· Experience working in clinic or with children is a plus, but not required
· Ability to work with families and other providers to incorporate therapeutic techniques in to the natural environments of the child.
· Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for children in all environments
Credential Requirements:
- Degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE accredited university
- Registration (OTR) from NBCOT
· License from California Board of Occupational Therapy
· CPR
· Fingerprint and Background check are required
