Days/Hours: 1 Position total
- 1 Position - Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Summary:
The Customer Service Specialist role ensures that all customer needs are promptly addressed by responding to customers’ requests, orders, questions, and concerns in a timely and accurate manner, while exercising the highest level of service and quality. This position will also research and resolve complex issues and implement process improvements. The Payment Processor role will sort, open, extract, and prepare transactions according to client business rules.
Payment Processor Position Duties:
- Open mail and extract paper invoices/payments
- Sort and batch transactions
- Scan, index, image capture, key and reconcile payments/invoices
- Analyze all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed
- Enter remittance processing data using a 10-key pad
- Balance multiple transactions for processing
- Follow established security procedures for the company and department
- Perform other duties as assigned
Customer Service Position Duties:
- Reply to inquiries via telephone, e-mail
- Use available resources efficiently to assess the customer’s issue and recommend valid solutions
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Production Supervisor or IT
- Record details of each customer interaction and any actions taken
- Follow up on any customer issues requiring additional research
- Maintain adequate knowledge of all internal software and systems
- Communicate with Operations Supervisor regarding status of issues
- Generate, analyze and distribute reports daily, weekly, and monthly
- Organize and prioritize workflow to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives
- Research and implement production process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- At least 2 years of Customer Service in business-to-business environment or customer service-related experience
- Proven proficiency with 10-key
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to write clear and accurate emails to customers
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Energetic and strong willingness to learn
- A work history of regular and reliable attendance
- A sense of teamwork while working independently
Desired:
- Preferred Two years Community College Degree, or equivalent experience in remittance processing, document imaging or item processing or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Opex equipment preferred (Opener 51, Opener 72 + FalconRed, 150 + IEM)
