Your future team
Our team, Diagnostics Data Engineering (DDE) is a critical part of the Aftermarket Technology group that sits within Complete Vehicle (CV) Function for Volvo Group North America. In DDE we develop diagnostic content as well as diagnostic tools for Volvo and Mack Trucks. Most important to our mission is developing the solutions that support our customers and their vehicles to stay on their mission, maximizing Uptime!
As a team we have skills and competences in many areas such as vehicle electronics, mechatronics, data analytics, AI, CAD/PLM, VR/AR, app development and more. In the area of Diagnostics, projects may focus on everything from core technologies to integration in end2end solutions, covering anything between sensors and raw data to decision support and industrialization.
To be successful in almost everything we do, it requires us to work in a cross functional environment building solutions together with people and teams in different parts of the organization. As a team we work, support each other, and grow together.
Within the role of Verification Engineer, you will perform test analysis through analyzing and reviewing design specifications and creating automated test cases. Based on this analysis you will verify/validate aftermarket diagnostic tool software and other parts of Volvo diagnostics solutions. You will do that by following all necessary steps in the SW testing process including test preparation, test execution and test reporting.
Within the role of Automation Engineer, you will use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop, test and implement tools and programs to create efficiencies within our ways of working. You will support efforts in continuous improvement to eliminate waste and finding better ways of solving old problems. Your responsibility will also be to coordinate and plan within the global community of practice team in securing automation strategies that will benefit all areas of Aftermarket Technology.
