Job Summary:
Join our healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing support to medical professionals and ensuring efficient patient care. Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in medication administration to accurately administer prescribed medications to patients.
- Perform X-Ray procedures under the guidance of healthcare providers to assist in diagnostic processes.
- Support medical professionals in various departments including internal medicine, geriatrics, and emergency medicine.
- Apply basic life support techniques when necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Assist in coding procedures and maintaining accurate medical records for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant with a strong foundation in physiology knowledge.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-intensity medical setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical-surgical practices and emergency medicine protocols.
- Knowledge of coding procedures and medical terminology for accurate documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
