**Responsibilities:**
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate contracts and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address any inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time.
- Implement process improvements to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Manage and control inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Analyze and interpret data to optimize material sourcing and reduce costs.
- Implement and maintain effective supply chain management processes.
**Requirements:**
-Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in materials management, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and production planning principles.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and materials management software.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Certification in supply chain management or a related field is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $25.62 - $27.17 per hour
