Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need of home care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide direct support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
- Provide care for seniors, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the highest quality of care
- Provide end-of-life care for clients in hospice settings
Skills:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and direct support techniques
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Familiarity with senior care, including dementia care and Alzheimer's support
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
- Knowledge of cleanliness and infection control practices
- Understanding of resident rights in nursing home settings
