Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for larger repair projects
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including logic controllers
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, tenants, and visitors
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and logic diagrams
- Proficient in English/Spanish (both written and verbal)
