Job Title: HR Consultant
Position Summary:
Advanced Advisors, LLC is seeking a qualified HR Consultant to provide comprehensive Human Resources services as part of a statewide initiative for a client in the Higher Education industry. The goal is to enhance HR capabilities and align them with organizational goals through strategic planning, survey services, training, and development programs. This will be remote long-term contract. *****MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE REFERENCES FOR SIMILIAR HIGHER EDUCATION PROJECTS WORKED ON WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full-Service Diagnostics:
Survey Services:
Conduct comprehensive survey services, including hosting and support for pre- and post-planning surveys.
Provide strategic HR survey support.
Administer a suite of employee surveys, including engagement, new hire, exit, and 360-degree feedback.
2. Strategic Planning Tools:
Develop and provide tools for strategic planning and decision-making to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
3. Pre-Built Training Content:
Provide ready-to-use training modules and materials.
Offer online accessible development programs for HR team members to ensure flexibility and ease of access.
4. Development Programs for HR Teams:
Design and deliver online development programs specifically aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of HR professionals.
5. Comprehensive Advisory Services:
Offer expert guidance on a wide range of HR topics.
Provide recommendations for key initiative plans to help HR teams prioritize and implement critical projects effectively.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are highly desirable.
2. Professional Experience:
HR Consulting Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR consulting, with a strong track record of delivering comprehensive HR services.
Higher Education Industry Experience: Proven experience working with institutions of higher education, understanding their unique challenges and requirements.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
3. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of strategic HR planning, employee engagement surveys, 360-degree feedback, and other diagnostic tools.
Experience with developing and implementing training and development programs, including e-learning platforms.
4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to analyze complex HR issues, develop data-driven solutions, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
Experience in conducting comprehensive HR surveys, analyzing results, and making strategic recommendations.
5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate HR concepts to non-HR professionals.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
6. Advisory and Strategic Planning Skills:
Expertise in providing advisory services on a wide range of HR topics, including compliance, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
Ability to develop strategic HR plans that align with organizational goals and support long-term growth.
7. Training and Development Expertise:
Experience in creating and delivering pre-built training modules and materials.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to develop effective online and in-person training programs.
8. Flexibility and Adaptability:
Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and work environments.
Experience working in a remote or virtual consulting capacity is preferred.

Continuous pursuit of professional development opportunities to stay current with HR trends, technologies, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degrees: A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Higher Education Consulting: Extensive experience consulting with higher education institutions, including understanding of their operational, regulatory, and cultural nuances.
Leadership Roles: Previous experience in senior HR roles, demonstrating leadership and strategic impact.

Pay: $74,104.00 - $82,438.00 per year
