As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You’ll greet guests with a warm welcome, manage reservations, and ensure they are seated promptly. You play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Seating Management: Efficiently manage the seating plan and ensure smooth guest flow.
- Reservation Handling: Take reservations over the phone, online, and in-person, ensuring accurate details are recorded.
- Waitlist Management: Monitor and manage the waitlist during busy periods.
- Guest Assistance: Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates and assist with special seating requests.
- Customer Service: Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Cooperation: Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Ambiance Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the host station and entrance area.
- POS System: Operate the point-of-sale system for reservations and guest tracking.
- Menu Knowledge: Provide guests with basic information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Goodbye: Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
