Urban Dessert Lab is an innovative plant-based dessert and soft serve concept in the Lower East Side. We are looking for an Assistant Manager.
We are seeking an individual with a positive, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude, who has great attention to detail and who looks forward to assisting the GM in managing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to uphold our company standards and achieve company goals.

- Must be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
- Must have NYC Food Handler's License
Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the execution of running their assigned location and performing other management and administrative duties including, but not limited to, the following:
- Supervising other team members and ensuring they are executing company protocol
- Payroll
- Team member scheduling
- Training & hiring of new team members
- Coordination & preparation of off-site events
- Store cleaning and maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, organizing inventory and stocking as needed
- Operating the point-of-sale system
- Maintaining knowledge about the company and the products in order to address customer questions
- Ability to prepare and serve ice cream and other products
- Ability to handle a high-volume of customers
