FACC's Client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC system maintenance, and general building repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and general building repairs
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate with external contractors
