Job Summary:
A Skyline Welder, lays out, fits, and welds/fabricates aluminum components to assemble structural forms.
You do not need to be certified to weld, however, you must pass a weld test, and be extremely accurate in reading a tape measure. Work experience in aluminum MIG welding required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding
- Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
- Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processes
- Assembles parts by bolting and riveting
- Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
- AWS D 1.2 Aluminum Certification credentials : not required but preferred
- Aluminum Fabrication Skills
- Other duties may be assigned
- Pass a weld test, background check, and drug test.
- Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead

Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a welder
· Experience using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
· Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
· 1-5 years welding experience in a manufacturing environment
· Must have strong attention to detail
· Exceptional communication and customer service skills
· Strong work ethic
· Will be required to perform various welding and cutting processes in the flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
· Will perform welding and cutting while standing, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, working on the ground, working overhead, working over, under, and around parts, and working with both hands overhead
· Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead
· Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
Day Shift: Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Night Shift: Monday through Friday 4:00PM - 12:30AM +$2.00 Differential
Compensation $20 -$24 an hour. This is a temp to hire position.
