The nature of the hotel Chief Maintenance Engineer is to maintain and repair property and equipment within the hotel, restaurant and grounds.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant and grounds.
- Leads a team of maintenance personnel to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns.
- Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventive maintenance projects.
- Responds to all building related Life Safety concerns.
- Maintains departmental compliance with hotel maintenance procedures.
- Supports hotel departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
- Handles guest related concerns.
- Maintain the guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
- Must possess knowledge of hand/power tool operation.
- Clean and maintain pool and spa area. Certified Pool Operator license required or the ability to obtain post-hire.
- Must have general computer knowledge (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, hardware, etc.)
- Strongly preferred: HVAC Certification/Licensing; knowledge of commercial plumbing; knowledge of commercial electrical
