Full-time, experienced Property Manager for a single multi-family urban apartment building. This is a supervisor position that includes managing all operations of a property, including budgets, staffing, marketing, maintenance, capital improvements, vendors, and customer relations.
Strong resident retention and leasing experience is required. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task with accuracy and precision while working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills that function to improve resident satisfaction and retention
- Ability to lead and manage a cohesive property management team that produces consistently positive outcomes with strong employee satisfaction and minimal staff turnover
- Strong sense of strategic thinking and initiative to identify and preempt risks to the successful operation of a property
- Ability to meet leasing and operational goals set by management
- Ability to effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of individuals
- Competency in computer and internet, Microsoft Office, and property management software
- Willingness to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, and the ability to conduct Request for Proposals (RFPs) for new vendors
- Participate in Fair Housing trainings, industry associations, and trade groups
- Remain informed of current and new laws, including OSHA and company safety requirements for all staff
- Professional presentation and demeanor at all times
- Strong organizational skills and an attitude that is flexible and tolerant of change
- Other duties as directed by the regional property manager
All candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm), with a base salary plus quarterly bonuses, health insurance, vacation, and 401k employer contributions.
