Position: Inventory Specialist - IR/CATH Labs

Key Responsibilities
- Supply Procurement: Ensure the timely and accurate procurement of supplies for the IR/CATH Lab areas, maintaining database integrity, managing backorders, and addressing stockouts.
- Inventory Management: Receive products by scanning manufacturer barcodes into the QSight inventory system, ensuring all items are accurately entered and labeled.
- Interface Management: Review and resolve interface exceptions within the QSight software, ensuring accurate product usage tracking in EPIC and patient accounts.
- Product Information: Gather and manage necessary information to load new products into the Infor procurement system, handle product returns, and communicate with Sales Reps and colleagues.
- Replenishment Functions: Optimize storage space, reorganize and label stocking locations, and recommend appropriate PAR levels to reduce inventory value.
- Supply Distribution: Distribute and refill medical surgical supplies to nursing units, ensuring neat and accurate stocking.
- Regulatory Compliance: Process regulatory-required implant documentation and oversee recall notifications and returns.
- Additional Duties: Assist in various Materials Management functions and maintain scrub dispensing equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in a related area required. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of two to four years in Supply Chain Management or a related clinical field. Proficiency in general PC skills and technical tools.
- Special Skills: Strong time management, multi-tasking abilities, analytical thinking, and innovation. Excellent communication skills and adaptability to change. Knowledge of computer software including point of use systems, PAR Excellence, InFor (Lawson), and QSight (Owens and Minor).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, push/pull equipment, and handle moderate to heavy stress from scheduling and deadlines. Exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous waste, and radiation may occur.
