Job Summary:
The Senior Customer Service Representative is an integral part of the Customer Service and Sales function of the Company. Ensuring optimal client satisfaction while performing a multitude of internal and external service-related tasks effectively and efficiently are core components of the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive daily purchase orders and process them promptly and with a high level of accuracy
- Acknowledge receipt of purchase orders with the client, create a sales order in SAGE, and provide confirmation to the client
- Communicates professionally with multiple departments to ensure smooth processing of customer orders including Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse teams
- Handle a wide array of client and prospective client inquiries that are submitted via e-mail, phone, and website, with timeliness and accuracy
- Utilize existing reporting tools in support of the Client Services team, such as updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Provide reports to brokerage partners regularly
- Receives, acknowledges, and assists QC in documentation of customer complaints
- Work closely with the Sales & Client Service team to support Sales Department overall
- Organize sales & marketing data for analysis
- Prepare presentations for sales team with assistance from marketing

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and apply judgment in interactions with internal staff, customers, and vendors
- Clear, concise, and courteous telephone etiquette; portrays a professional image on the telephone and to in-person visitors
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a very high-volume environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and mathematical skills,
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
Experience, Education, and Training -
- High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- 5+ years related client services or customer service experience strongly preferred
- Previous food industry experience very strongly preferred
- o Sage experience preferred
- o Strong Microsoft Office skills
