BCM, LLC is a general contractor specializing in multi-family affordable housing. Projects range in size from $1M to $25M, and include both new construction and renovation.
Position Summary:
The Project Superintendent must be a highly motivated, adaptable and experienced individual in all aspects of field construction. Proven leadership capabilities and the highest ethical standards are paramount. The Project Superintendent will have a clear and solid understanding of the construction process, including subcontractor coordination and project scheduling. Interacting with a variety of businesses on a day-to-day basis, a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution and people management skills are essential for the Project Superintendent. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all subcontractors onsite and coordinate phases of work
- Regularly review overall project schedule and collaborate with Project Manager to update
- Create three-week look-ahead schedules to share with subcontractors on a weekly basis
- Oversee weekly jobsite coordination meetings with subcontractor team members
- Complete company Daily Logs
- Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships
Experience and Skill Sets:
- 5-10 years of construction management experience
- Project Quality Control
- Project Safety
- Project Scheduling
- Direct subcontractors on daily, weekly objectives
- Objectively evaluate subcontractor performance
- Recognize manpower issues and provide analysis
- Constructability and technical understanding
- Outstanding listening and communication skills
