This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced health care professional wanting to join a dynamic team. As the largest OB/GYN group in the Mid Atlantic area, Capital Women's Care is a 150+ group of OB/GYN's located throughout Greater Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
We are seeking a full-time highly skilled and experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the medical office operations at a multi-site, high volume OB/GYN practice.
Candidate's Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree OR Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated senior practice management
Proven ability to supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate new and current staff with a goal to create and support an engaging and positive workplace
Experience with advanced medical billing systems, medical coding, and medical terminology
Knowledge of NextGen Enterprise Management and Electronic Health Record System a plus
Demonstrated leadership ability and exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform well in stressful situations
Ability to utilize software, spreadsheets, word processors, ADP WorkforceNow, and Microsoft Office is required
Current demonstrated competence and an adequate level of current experience, documenting the ability to provide services at an acceptable level of quality and efficiency.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the practice; audit records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Identify and resolve patient satisfaction and patient flow issues; develop and implement programs to monitor and improve patient satisfaction
Participate in the recruitment, training, and orientation of new employees
Develop monthly staff schedules, review/approve staff time and attendance in ADP WorkforceNow
Create monthly provider schedules and templates
Conduct performance evaluations, improve morale, motivate team, and address performance and disciplinary issues, including hiring and firing
Monitor inventory of office supplies, medical supplies, and equipment
Assure cash drawer is balanced; prepare and make daily bank deposit
Identify community marketing opportunities and engage staff in marketing strategies
Coordinate and provide professional development opportunities and events
Prepare weekly and monthly operational dashboards; participate in weekly calls with all Practice Administrators to review performance dashboards
Resolve and approve billing holds originating at the site; understand accounts receivable and accounts payable
Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment regulations, OSHA, HHS, and labor laws as directed by the Human Resources department
Coordinate facility and equipment maintenance and other vendor services as needed
Ability to step in as a medical assistant or secretary if needed
Will work directly with practice partners and report to the CEO.

Ability to review patient medical charts for relevant history.
Commitment to remain up-to-date with clinical standards of care and related advances in the field.
Flexibility in responding to day-to-day clinical service demands and responsiveness to needs/inquiries of colleagues.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a team environment and to collaborate with professionals across a variety of disciplines.
Ability to consistently maintain and convey a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills in service delivery.
