What is the RCF Resident Care Manager (RCM) experience?
As the RCF (Resident Care Facility) Resident Care Manager (RCM), you will provide oversight and direction for resident health care functions, ensuring high-quality resident care and a positive working environment. Your responsibilities will include assessing residents' needs, coordinating care plans, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members. You will conduct thorough evaluations of residents' physical and mental health, family and community resources, and the physical environment. Ensuring pre-placement screenings are completed to assess the appropriateness of placement and readiness to meet resident care needs prior to admission is crucial. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, review, and revise individualized care plans/service plans for each resident, ensuring regular assessments and updates whenever there is a change in condition, is essential. You will oversee resident medication administration, maintain accurate medical records, and delegate nursing tasks appropriately. Communicating with physicians to plan care for residents as needed and coordinating services with outside medical service providers is part of your role. Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff members, and supporting functional groups through proactive communication and feedback is vital.
What are the job qualifications?
- Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon, BSN preferred.

Minimum 2 years nursing experience, long term care setting preferred but not required.

1-year supervisory experience.

Able to interact well with staff, residents, and families.

Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills.
- Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.
