Job Title: Assistant Director of Dental Operations

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Dental Operations to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of our busy dental practice. The Assistant Director of Dental Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all three locations, while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage and optimize the daily operations of all three dental locations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Financial Management: Develop and oversee budgets, financial planning, and revenue cycle management. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor office managers and administrative staff across all locations. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce standards of patient care, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business objectives. Drive growth and expansion strategies for the practice.
- Patient Experience: Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences. Implement policies and procedures to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty.
- Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements in dental practice management software and equipment. Implement systems to improve efficiency and patient care outcomes.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior management role within a healthcare or dental practice setting, preferably overseeing multiple locations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and business development.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel between offices.
