What we are looking for:
Partner Forces is seeking a Consultant to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. This position will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives for this agency. The primary responsibility set for this position involves building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, conducting research and analysis, evaluating, and executing on client priorities, setting goals and guidelines, and operating in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple assignments at any given time.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to inspire and drive program and change management excellence; ensure consistency and structure, and guarantee outstanding communication, coordination, and execution. This role will interact with all levels of staff and will push for results while building great cross-functional relationships based on trust and accountability.
What you will do as a Consultant:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government personnel and teaming partners.
- Lead customer, stakeholder, and partner engagements ensuring program execution is aligned with customer expectations.
- Lead timely high-quality deliverables in support of the contract mission.
- Support government senior leadership with the development and execution of leadership priorities.
- Provide strategic support to stakeholders across the agency by implementing industry best practices and development of programmatic and communications artifacts.
- Conduct analytics, provide strategic recommendations, and develop policy and implementation packages to support several key initiatives to support long-term operational strategy and overall service delivery.
- Develops and manages information to support corporate decision making.
- Challenge and seek understanding if something does not make sense to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support the development and growth of junior team members through the apprenticeship model.
- Contribute to client development activities and internal corporate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- US Citizen (the nature of our contract requires employees be US citizens)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS HQ suitability required; current preferred.
- BA/BS degree required.
- DHS and/or government experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a team environment.
- Strong leadership presence with a proven track record of driving consensus both internally and with external partners.
- Creative problem-solver with experience defining and communicating processes, addressing pain points, and introducing process improvements.
- Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
- Passionate for building strong cross-functional teams, coaching and mentoring members to deliver results and effectively structure large initiatives.
- Demonstrate good business acumen and experience.
- Have the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and comfort with ambiguity.
Salary Range:
At Partner Forces, we consider many factors when making compensation decisions, reflecting the unique skills and experiences each candidate brings, as well as organizational and contractual needs. An estimate of the salary range for this role is $88,000 to $125,000. We believe that salary is just one component of your total compensation package.
