Sign Installer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sign Installer to join our team. The Sign Installer will be responsible for installing and removing real estate signs in the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate will have experience in sign installation, construction or other related fields.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain a variety of real estate signs and posts, ranging in materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Provide and operate necessary installation tools and equipment
- Ensure that signs are installed safely and securely, following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Utilize a third party application (UpSignDown) to plan, coordinate, and report on installation job progress during installation.
- Communicate with business manager to ensure that installations meet Oakley’s service quality expectations and each agent’s individual specifications .
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on signs, including replacing posts and signs, and repairing damaged components
Keep accurate records of installations and maintenance work
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in sign installation, construction or related field.
- Ability to read English and perform basic task related communications.
- Knowledge of sign installation and removal
- Ability to operate hand and power tools in all seasons.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation that can hold a large number of sign posts and panels.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,100.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Year round work
