STOCK AND LEADER is hiring a full-time, experienced Real Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate will process real estate transaction files for commercial and residential real estate acquisition and financing transactions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drafting of deeds, agreements, easements, loan documents, legal descriptions, and other real estate documents.
- Communicates with clients regarding a wide variety of real estate transactions via mail, e-mail, and telephone.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders in processing real estate title transactions.
- Collecting required data, documents and completing settlement statements.
- Coordinate with staff regarding disbursement of funds, document recordings, and title insurance issuance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the Practice of Real Estate.
- Experience with Qualia software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications including Adobe Acrobat Pro, NetDocs, and other web-based applications such as Centerbase.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with legal terminology pertinent to the area of assignment.
- Notary Public commission preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Must possess good people skills and a positive attitude.
