CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)
Responsibilities and Expectations
Customer Service
▪ Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
▪ Behave in a manner to create a welcoming, engaging, professional environment for clients and your team to experience
▪ Respond to routine client inquiries and requests in a timely manner and always with same day follow-through
▪ Promote the benefits of the Bank’s products and services to prospective and current clients to generate new business and strengthen existing household relationships
▪ Open deposit accounts, answer clients’ questions, perform account maintenance, and assist clients with products and services
▪ Participate in daily branch operations and procedures including, but not limited to, opening and/or closing the branch, balancing the vault, assisting with completion of internal records and audit logs, administering safe deposit box needs, performing teller transactions, and carrying out other administrative functions, as needed
▪ Promote and foster teamwork across all areas of Outdoor Bank and focus on delivering a high level of customer service to all internal and external clients
Build Client Relationships
▪ Conduct professional client conversations that build and sustain trust and credibility
▪ Recommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that match clients’ financial needs
▪ Promote bank products and services within and outside the Bank
▪ Demonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality production
Productivity
▪ Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all consumer and commercial products including deposit products, debit cards, and online banking to enhance the client experience
▪ Demonstrate a strong understanding and working knowledge of general banking Rules and Regulations as well as the Bank’s Core operating system
▪ Maintain and monitor annual personal plan for growth goals and objectives
Quality of Work
▪ Demonstrate consistent quality of work product within the context of client documentation
▪ Exhibits solid time management skills, organization, planning and priority setting in carrying out day-to-day responsibilities for client follow-through and commitments made to internal and external clients
▪ Exhibit strong problem-solving skills by providing effective solutions; look beyond the obvious
▪Demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and regulations for your job responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, Employee Handbook, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
▪ Complete all required compliance training on an annual and/or as needed basis
▪ Adhere to Bank policies and procedures
Interpersonal Skills/Cooperation
▪ Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to include a cooperative spirit, positive attitude in all interpersonal relationships with co-workers, managers, and subordinates
▪ Communicate problems and concerns in a respectful and constructive way

▪ Complete special projects as needed
▪ Perform other duties as assigned or required
Required Skills & Education
▪ High School diploma or equivalent
▪ Cash handling experience preferred
▪ Customer service experience
▪ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
▪ Computer proficiency in Windows-based system
▪ Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
▪ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
▪ Capable of working with a team
▪ Aptitude for math
▪ Ability to travel to other bank locations for training and staff coverage

Work Environment
This position requires the employee to work primarily in the office with occasional travel to client locations. To fulfill the job responsibilities, the employee must plan on being onsite at their designated bank location working hours assigned by their manager. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
