```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for analysis
- Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
- Monitor patients during surgery and recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments
- Provide post-operative care and instructions to pet owners
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred
- Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is a plus
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and medications
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques for dogs, cats, and other small animals
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and ability to collect and prepare samples for analysis
- Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is beneficial
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate pet owners on proper animal care
