We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our growing manufacturing plant in Rockwood, Tennessee. This position also offers the opportunity to work with other HR managers in affiliated plants and be part of a global HR team. High integrity, confidentiality and good listening skills are important to us – to enhance a positive working relationship with the facility. Strong employee relations skills and experience with employee relations programs and coaching is a must have.
Key responsibilities include:
· Hiring: Interview, and orient salaried and hourly employees.
· Record Keeping: Maintain salary and hourly employment records, administer attendance program, regional HR KPIs, and HR System Administration.
· Coaching: Hiring managers and departments to develop their human relations skills.
· Salary planning and payroll administration.
· Talent Management: Annual reviews and succession planning.
· Health and Safety: Support the plant's Environmental Health and Safety Staff.
· Policy Management: Develop and Maintain plant policies.
· Benefits Administration: Coach employees on benefit offerings, managing health insurance issues, retirement accounts, vacations, paid time off, and parental leave.
· Employee engagement: Driver of engagement activities at the plant, effective communications, and fair administration of the policies.
· Community Engagement: Work with the community and the Teijin Holding company to promote service activities in the local community.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· A bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
· Five or more years of human resources experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated Organizational skills.
· Empathy yet able to be a problem solver and make hard decisions.
· Proficiency with HR data, making data-based decisions and preparing data based presentations.
· Capable with Microsoft office suite - including excel, word and PPT.
· Legally able to work in the US without sponsorship.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
