Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding insurance policies, coverage, claims, and billing inquiries.

Process policy changes, updates, and renewals accurately and efficiently.

Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to the appropriate department when necessary.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in the company's database.

Educate customers on additional insurance products and services that may benefit them, promoting upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Willingness to pursue relevant insurance certifications or licenses as required by the state (will help you achieve these)

Previous experience in customer service preferred but not required

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
