Responsibilities
- Sell life, health, and Medicare insurance policies to potential clients
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain policy options and benefits to customers
- Conduct outside sales visits to meet with clients in person
- Negotiate terms and prices with customers to close sales
- Assist with sales administration tasks such as processing applications and maintaining client records
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Provide excellent customer service to address client inquiries and concerns
- Utilize multilingual skills, including Spanish, to assist a diverse customer base
- Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and strategies to effectively promote insurance products
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive customer information
- Occasionally engage in telemarketing activities to reach out to potential clients
Qualifications
- Licensed Life, Health, and Medicare Insurance Agent certification
- Proven experience in insurance sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in outside sales techniques and negotiation strategies
- Retail sales experience is a plus
- Ability to speak multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills
- Bilingual proficiency is an advantage
- Knowledge of marketing principles and benefits administration
- Prior experience in customer service, particularly in the context of insurance
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience in telemarketing is beneficial
