Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in training kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Support the Head Chef in creating innovative dishes while adhering to budgetary constraints
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the culinary industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and control
- Familiarity with menu planning and food production processes
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
