- Experience working with mental health and substance use disorder is preferred
- Acknowledge understanding of Client Rights, per MN Rule 31, part 4747.1500.
- Must completed DHS background check and be cleared to work in human services programs.
- Acknowledge freedom from substance abuse problems for 1 or more years.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, detail oriented
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Responsibilities
- Monitor and document physical and mental health needs
- Use withdrawal screening, interview and history taking to assess patient safety
- Create and update medication administration records, administration of medication
- Work with psychiatric providers to assess mental health symptoms and create treatment plans
- Assist in maintaining high quality, timely nursing documentation in patient charts
- Provide patient education focused on treatment of mental health and substance use disorders
- Keep medical supplies in stock and up to date
- Supervise chemical dependency technician staff
