We are a local real estate agency looking for some part time help with property management and general real estate services. We are located in New Orleans, with Uptown and Downtown locations.
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily operations at our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and supporting the Property Manager in various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing property operations and maintenance
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and repairs
- Communicate with tenants regarding lease agreements, rent payments, and inquiries
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and assist with the leasing process
- Handle tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities
- Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions and activities
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file management
- Excellent conflict management abilities to address tenant concerns effectively
- Sales skills to assist in leasing activities and promote property features
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and lease agreements
- Familiarity with property management software (CMMS) for efficient task management
- Understanding of legal aspects related to property management
- Exceptional phone etiquette for professional tenant communication
