Scope of Work: Assemble/build, wire and test electrical control panels. Assemble AC and DC equipment on skids and terminate.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. / great work ethic and great mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Ability to read assembly drawings, blueprints and electrical schematics.

Must be mechanically inclined and be able to use power tools and hand tools.

Must be very detailed oriented.

Experience with building control panels and standard practices associated with panel layout, labeling and terminations.

Great safety, quality, and teamwork attitude.

Reliable and honest.

Ability to speak and understand basic English
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
-
Spends some of time in shop/outdoor environment including inclement weather conditions. Medium noise level. This work will typically be at a shop located in Corpus Christi and is not field work, no per diem.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
At times this can be a very physical job requiring frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing upward, walking and lifting daily.
EXPERIENCE:
-
2-5 years industrial or panel shop experience preferred.

Building and termination of electrical control panels with PLC and other electrical equipment highly desired. DC controls and PLC experience preferred.

Ability to read P&ID's and electrical schematics.
