Position summary: The Human Resources Generalist will support the Human Resources Department by performing a variety of essential tasks with the purpose of creating an exceptional employment experience.

Be an active champion of company culture, values and policies

Assist with benefits administration, workers compensation, and unemployment

Support the recruitment and hiring of new employees

Assist with managing internal and external ad postings

Manage the recruiting pipeline and ensure accuracy

Perform reference checks

Coordinate background checks and drug screens
- Co-Op Program Management
- Support new employee onboarding

Host orientation sessions

Route new hire and established employment documents

Manage compliance and record retention

Scan and save new hire, and other employee documents timely and appropriately

Accurately maintain employee files and perform employee data audits
- Support our employee experience

Manage floor planning and seat assignments

Complete verification of employments

Maintain employee directory and organization chart

Monitor and organize employee recognition channels
- Ensure employees have a safe work environment by monitoring, reporting, and escalating any workplace safety incidents
- Assist with the training and development of DA employees

Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources or related field

1-2 years of experience working in a Human Resources environment
- Combination of experience, training/certifications and education will be considered, in lieu of degree

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
