Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare settings and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee medical records management, including maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and billing
- Collaborate with human resources to handle employee onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel issues
- Assist in fiscal management, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Utilize Patterson Eaglesoft dental l record systems to manage patient information and appointments
- Collaborate with managed care organizations to ensure proper utilization management and reimbursement processes
- Coordinate with other departments within the hospital or healthcare facility to optimize workflow and patient care
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a dental setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
-Knowledge of dental coding and billing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Familiarity with fiscal management principles and budgeting processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
