Looking for an energetic, cheerful dependable person for a fast paced medical office. Must have a minimum of 2 years MA medical office experiencel. Seeking long term employee with a great attitude, who is professional, loyal, a team player; flexible and hard working. Applicant should have EMR/EHR experience; can work under normal daily pressure; be able to answer multiple phone line system; use copier/fax/scanner; proficient w/computers and their basic programs; proficient at basic math; must be highly organized;pay attention to details; will preform patient intake; maintain a daily positive attitude; Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
Duties include: Medical records requests; schedules patients; answering phones; helps check patients in/out; rooms patients and takes vitals; assits inprocessing orders and MRI authorizations; consult letters, proofing reading dictation; cross train w/receptionist position. Must be able to work 1 Saturday 1/2 day a month.
High school diploma required; 2 years medical office experience & EHR required; medical terminology knowledge preferred. Must be a certifified or registered medical assistant.
