You’ll be starting with sales & services, showroom management, and assisting marketing efforts as the VOC, Voice Of the Customer. Initially, you'll learn and master the tasks outlined above, then expand to developing local and national sales channels. Collaboration with colleagues is key to growing your business vertical. The entire team does what it takes, we expect the same from our salespeople. Our well-established products can sell themselves. So, while you will be focused on selling, you must be keen on educating and driving business development through trust as it will be essential for your growth and success. Remember, people love to buy but they hate being sold. That means thinking creatively to reach customers early in the buying cycle and helping them understand the right level security for their needs. You also must be attentive to timeliness of customer response. Earnings are uncapped, with a base plus commission and a non-recoverable draw as you get started.
Must be able to lift and transfer products weighing 50+ lbs. with the assistance of a cart. We are in the security industry and often deal with wealthy individuals, so discretion and professionalism are very important. Work hours include Saturdays to support showroom sales. If you grow sales enough to add salespeople, your hours may become more flexible.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years successful B2C retail sales experience
- Some experience assisting in the development of additional channel sales opportunities, e.g., partners
- Comfortable with social media content creation a plus!
- Hearing/understanding customer needs, pain points and preferences is essential. Without this, you cannot be successful nor can you fulfill being the VOC for marketing efforts.
- Competent clear verbal and written English language ability
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but coachability is more important
- What does it mean to be coachable? Having zero ego, 100% driven to achieve goals personally and professionally and likes working and learning from the team
- Experienced and accepting of using a CRM for obtaining top results, ACT CRM software a plus
- Safe industry knowledge a plus

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with incoming prospects, consult to educate on products and services, make recommendations, close deals
- Propose basic content for marketing to run with, e.g. pain points, competitive info, etc., so that you may grow your business
- Prepare quotes, follow up, and close deals
- Manage and organize leads, customer calls, emails effectively using a CRM
- Clearly define specific support to help manage growing the business and able to gain colleague support
- Reach out to target markets to generate new business relationships
- Support inventory management, giving input on products to be carried and reorder levels
- Manage showroom, direct what to display and where, update price tags
- Respond to customer concerns with speed, professionalism, and satisfactory solutions
- Suggest marketing ideas or messaging that your hearing - you are the voice of your customers/prospects (VOC)
- Listen to customer wants, needs, pain points and create a repertoire /collection of answers to drive trust and sales of conventional safes & services
- Saturdays required until you have grown the business vertical enough to have additional salespeople to help cover on Saturdays
- Work closely with the delivery teams to expand our delivery services
Physical Demands:
This position involves sales support in the showroom, on the phone, and email follow-up. Must be able to sit and stand for hours at a time. Must be able to lift and transfer products weighing 50+ lbs. with the assistance of a cart. Must have reliable transportation for occasional sales calls. May be called upon for trade show support where extended standing is required.
