Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, specifically orthopedics
- Assist with surgical procedures and ensure patient safety
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia during surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology in patient care
Experience:
- Must be a registered nurse with a valid license
- Previous experience in an orthopedic operating room setting
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation, medical terminology, and medical records
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
