Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in and office settings, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Ensure patient payment accounts are current and collect payments for services.
- Discuss financial options for recommended treatment plans with patients.
- Maintain a clean work and reception area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role
- Experience in sales, collections, and/or account review is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff effectively
