This Reliability Engineering position will handle equipment and tooling design, engineering changes, validation testing, work instructions, flow optimization, waste reduction and troubleshooting. Highlighted Duties
- Address and prioritize manufacturing and customer service issues related to design.
- Create design change prototypes using Autodesk Inventor to improve manufacturing in areas such as cost, quality, safety, and time efficiency.
- Foster a positive team culture within the Engineering department and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Develop tooling and fixtures that support manufacturing
- Collaborate with Quality Control to identify and resolve component defects, aiming to enhance quality and reduce waste.
- Investigate and address the root causes of product or process nonconformities, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Consult with management, assess customer requirements, and select validation objectives and standards for products.
- Conduct and analyze engineering validation tests, ensuring systems and processes meet required criteria; order parts as needed.
- Maintain and review databases for tracking test results, validation activities, and system schematics.
- Modify testing methods and objectives to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Create and manage engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, flow charts, schedules, and schematics.
- Stay updated on manufacturing equipment and new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Highlighted Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Engineering experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have some experience with Inventor designing product or tooling
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Experience creating work instructions, line layouts and troubleshooting equipment preferred
