Overview:
Cashier Responsibilities $16-17 an hour (depending on experience):
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
- Redeem stamps and coupons.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
- provide customer service
- assists other restaurant staff as needed
- Prior experience as a cashier
- Experience using modern register operations and POS equipment like credit card / debit card terminals, product scanners
- Understand handling product coupons, gift cards and other payment forms
- Very positive and friendly attitude; helpful approach in all customer experiences
- Strong language and communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and trustworthy
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is recommended, but not required.
Line Cook $18 an hr:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders.
- Line cooks are responsible for the cooking, plating, and completing dishes for service.
- Attending to all needed food to be prepped and served.
- Making sure food is always filled and ready to serve.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
